hi.
menopause causes loss off bone calcium and bones become weekand brittle.this is called osteoporosis.it is more in women than in men.it usually cause bone fractures like colles fracture of the wrist joint. some times it may cause pains also.
inorder to prevent this problem postmenopausal women are given oestrogen suppliments.and calcium too. so please consult ur gynecologist if u suffer with such kind of problem.
