I like his facial hair, but I miss his face. I haven't seen his face without hair for at least 10 years now and I miss it. I would just like to see a hairless face for our anniversary... he can always grow it back! Could someone help me understand why this is such a big deal? Particularly since it's something he can grow right back in a week or two? Please help! It's the only thing I want for our anniversary... just to see his face (and kiss it) without the fuzz.

Please do NOT suggest witholding sex or meals. I find the idea of bribing one's spouse repugnant, and I will not do that.

I should make it very clear that I HAVE ASKED HIM MANY TIMES. That is why I'm asking this question -- I've asked and he wont.

When you find out, let me know! My fiance has a beard, mustache, and long sideburns. I have always threatened (teasingly) that if he doesn't shave them off, then I will--while he's sleeping as he's a sound sleeper! I agree that it is nice to see their faces and not kiss hair/fuzz. I have seen pics of my fiance when he didn't have all that hair and he looks sooooooooooooooooooooooo good, sooooooooooooo much younger than he is (he is 54). I have asked him over and over to shave it off and he could grow it back after I take pictures of him and enjoy it like that for a few days as his hair grows very fast (just not on the top of his head lol). He will shave his beard, but not the rest of it. Darn it! I agree that withholding sex or meals is not the answer either. It is considered abuse to do that and I refuse to abuse anyone. I have told him how I feel about the hair, but nothing works. If you find something that works, please let me know!

Next time you are having sex or cuddling or whatever, just cover up the bottom part of his face, his mouth, etc. with your hands. When he asks up what's up, just say sweetly, "I'm just trying to remember what you look like without your beard. I used to love it and I miss it. "

Tell him it will make him look and feel younger. And so will you.
