In my case it was a lack of trust that wasn't sex related. Also I read somewhere that money causes most of the problems in a relationship. So I would have to say no, most divorces aren't caused by lack of sexual satisfaction

i think it's one of the main reasons. there never is really one reason for divorce anyway.
But yes. I seriously think that bad sex will eventually lead to a bad marriage. It's the first thing that goes wrong and little things start adding up on top of it. when you have great sex, you release hormones in your system. these happy hormones make you want to do anything and everything for that one person. therefore making each other happy all the time.
but then that's just my opinion.

Certainly do not believe this to be so. Was explained to me many years ago that four major causes of discord in marriage are:
1. Communication
2. Money
3. Sex
4. Communication.
As you can see communication is mentioned twice and so would lead me to believe that this would be main reason for divorce

Nope. I think the #1. reason is SELFISHNESS. Every divorce I know of has the weed of selfishness growing there. Selfishness can be manifested sexually, but sex isn't the main reason.

no. the main reason is lack of communication. a loving couple remains in constant communication. when this stops or is lessened, it is very hard to correct any little problems before they become big problems. this is true of financing, work schedules, where to live or vacation, sex, children, everything else.

I heard on the radio that the top reason was money issues and second was sex. I'm a firm believer in test driving the car before you buy it, myself. ;o)

The attorneys may not use that term, but it can make a case for a divorce.

I think it's more about lack of communication and compromise. Because if you communicated and compromised more you probably wouldn't have sex problems, money problems, chore issues, etc.
