Wasn't the Culpepper trade the best ever in Viking's history? I think it makes up for the Hershel Walker fiasco from the early '80s.

They got a second round pick for him, which they used to draft Tarvaris Jackson.

The H. Walker thing still makes me laugh to this day.
Culpepper proves that one player can't make a team win. You need the surrounding cast, like in Indy.
So far, the trade looks great for both teams.

Being a Cowboys fan, I'd have to say that the Hershel Walker trade was the best trade in Viking's history!!!

I would say that when Herger the Impaler was traded for Magnus the Smasher, it was a very good trade as Magnus proved much more reliable at pillage and plundering raids along the English coast in 1034. Or were you talking about football?

Any time you can get rid of Culpepper it was a good trade for you.

...Culpepper wasn't a bad QB....it was the fact that Moss left that he had a bad season...then the injury...So that really wasn't that great of a trade the way I see it...
