Make sure to wash once in the morning and once at night too. A few things you can do is:
1: squeeze lemon juice on your face and leave on for a bit before washing off.
2: steam your face by covering up with a towel and facing a bowl of steaming water .. then scrubbing your face with an exfoliant to loosen the black heads
3: But a dab of toothpaste over the major ones to prevent more swelling.

It's probably caused by an imbalance of the hormones. Birth control can help acne a lot. Estrostep for example is a good birth control which controls the hormones and acne breakouts. I got off of Estrostep and my skin went crazy. It has now gotten better though! Neutrogena is good - I forget what its called but its a small jar that is the color orange, and it says it zaps pimps in 8 hours. I use that and then I use KlearAction (creme). I use both of these when I see a bump under the skin that is about to surface. It really really works for me. If you broke out a lot see a dermatologist though. They can prescribe you a topical medication like differin and an oral antibiotic like minocycline which kills the bacteria. Drink lots of water to!

At this point the pimple is untreatable, however there are creams and lotions available to lessen the inflammation. In addition to over the counter treatments, it has been rumored that toothpaste can dry out the blemish if applied before going to bed. It has been thought to dry out in the morning.

If it just suddenly happened, it's probably due to a change in your routine. You can get sudden breakouts from new medicine, diet changes, and stress. My sister used to break out every time she had too much chocolate. If you determine the cause and eliminate or resolve it, you will probably get rid of the pimples.

Wish I knew. Have had mild to moderate acne for about 16 years. Mind you, I do eat chocolate every day which probably doesn't help. But a few spots isn't worth the sacrifice.
