No. Potassium helps cramps. You can take potassium tablets or eat more bananas. A doctor recommends placing a bar of Dove or ivory soap under the bottom sheet, down where your feet are. He doesn't know WHY it works, just that it does. (He says only those two soaps will work, though.) The testimonials seemed believable.
There is a remedy called Calmax available online, but it's fairly costly.
Good Luck

I do not recall it to help for leg cramps. I was using it depression. I also know it is used for sleep disorders like insomnia. Leg cramps? I dont think so.
I researched my homeo "bible" and found you can use :
Veratrum Album-(White Hellebore)
Ledum - (Wild Rosemary)
Colocynthis - (Bitter Cucumber)
I am not a certified homeopathic person. When I have conditions where I seek alternative medicines I will alway ask the person in the store. Try and find a store whose herbal/homeo specific. These will have your widest alternatives and knowlegable staff. Going to a drug store, you may not find someone who can really answer your question.

I use Nova-Northriptyline for leg cramps at night. My fiance certainly appears to seem that it works as I know longer am kicking her through the night. I use this for cramps and restless legs syndrome at night, speak with your docitor and see if he thinks it may help you also.
