How do I stop when Roller Skating? Not blades or in line skates, the roller derby kind is what I use.

I thought the idea is, you look for a gorgeous guy, and crash into him with your arms wide open.

I think the accepted methods of stopping include flipping over the rail, crashing into the wall, and grabbing on to the nearest body & yanking it to the floor.

If you don't have a rubber toe stop(on the front or back of the skateusually the front) the you put one foot in front of the other in a t postion.

the brakes are on the back of the skate ~ you have to push down on your heel
no - I think they're on the front ~ push down on your toes or heel ~ whichever makes you stop - that's the one!

um....theres usually a rubber knob on the front or the back of the skate shoe....so you tilt your foot either forward or backwards
