My husband fitted himself in priests clothing and strapped a stuffed "boy" around his waist to make it look like he was getting a... well, you know. That was pretty scary and he won 300 bucks in a contest

Best one I saw was so simple to do - gal took "Hello, I'm____" stickers and put a different name on each one. She went as a multiple personality.

I made up a T-shirt with sayings on it like "Mother-in-law visit", "flat tire", "tax audit" and I went as your worst nightmare.
