Specific genre word?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had ever come across a word under the genre of rock and metal music. ""Jaded"" some bands I've heard use it in lyrics including: Mest, Good Charlotte, Simple Plan etc. thanks

Jaded means seen it all, been through it all and nothing surprises you or affects you anymore.
