I'm not sure which SPF we are suppose to use. BUT, I do know that people with darker skin don't need as much SPF protection. The darker your skin the more melanin you have everyone knows that I guess...more melainin means more protection and lower SPF needed.

Yes everyone shoud use sunscreen.Atleast a 45 to be useful.a 15 spf for children.Athough darker skinned people have more melanin in the skin which helps with some protection, it is not enough to protect the skin.It is still very possible to get skin cancer from sun damage, so please do use sun screen at or above a 45 SPF

Anyone that gets at least a moderate amount of sun exposure should use a mild form of protection. Personally, I'm whiter than most white people, so I get my relatives from Phoenix to send me spf 70 every spring. And I live in WA. It's like glue, but it's worth not getting burned.

I would suggest SPF 15. You block out harmful UV rays, nourish your skin, and prevent wrinkles at the same time! Yay!
