The only thing real in wrestling are the steroids.

That's why they are all called superstars instead of athletes.

While the chairs may look serious, there are tricks that are used to make it appear worse than it is. Back in the 70's & 80's before wrestling became a big thing (and when Hulk Hogan was first starting out) razorblades were hidden in corners of the ring so that when the wrestler's heads hit the corners the forehead would be cut and blood would be seen. That's why a lot of old has been wrestlers have scars on their foreheads.

Yes... you can fake the chair shot. Notice the hitee already starts backward or puts his hands up at the very last second. It's also the same when the shoulder gets rammed into the steel steps and the head is conked off the ring posts or same steps.

Wrestling is real in that yes there is physicality to it, but they are trained to take the pounding and abuse. When they muck it up though they get seriously hurt. Remember the match where JBL got his hand mucked up by Benoit. There was no faking on that. his hand was accidently caught and Benoit didn't realize it.

You can tell when an injury happens. The flow of the match gets interrupted as the camera is forced to go elsewhere. Randy popped his shoulder during an ECW match. It was obvious he did something by the way he wrestled. Cena went over the top rope at a rumble match an his knee went the wrong way. He doubled over in pain. Angle's last match is a prime example. It was hard to watch as you can tell there was something wrong.

NO the answer is it is NOT fake. No one can dispute that. It is scriptde and pre-determined, and yes the wrestlers do NOT get punched, but they DO get hurt. You see a man with pins sticking in his back, that is NOT computer generated. However there is a storyline that is followed and the wrestlers walk through the match backstage before the actual thing in fornt of the crowds. Also the injuries ARE REAL. In the WWE there has been broken necks, backs, arms, legs, skulls and even deaths. Pro-wrestling is one of the most demanding sports in the world, you are on the road for 300 days a year, and yes for all you stupid ********* out there pro-wrestling (WWE style) is more demanding than real wrestling, because in real wrestling you only fight about 10-12 bouts a year, you have time to relax and recuperate in between, you dont have the chance to do that in pro-wrestling.

I have a friend who owns and runs NWC wrestling and a majority of it is played out but like he said if you cant pull a punch and make it look real actually hit him... because your there for the entertainment and you are getting paid for it... plus they are trained on how to fall and not get hurt... there are many factors but these guys are probably in the best shape of most athletes... plus have to deal with the most injuries... now the chair to the head is usually blocked by the arm if you look close enough but like I said before they do pull back at just the right time so they dont get hurt... now the chops across the chest are real and those hurt like heck I have had those done to me and its not fun... but as for most of it its all entertainment... hope this helps and if you want to know about other things message me... I will be happy to answer your questions... oh and BTW Kane came from NWC wrestling so it is a reputable midwestern based company...

it's entertainment, but risks are so real, so then what so many wrestlers died in the ring or many others finished with serious physical damage. it is right that many of the thing that happen in the ring during the matches are prepared but every hit, kick are real the work of wrestlers is just that they have trained over years to be able to do all those things with the least damage as possible. however I remember several back hurts, broken necks and shoulders. the real of wrestling personally talking, is the lesson that can catch of it, you can be hit and almost destroyed, but the inspiration is when someone kicks out before the 3 count.

Wrestling is FAKE.. They are all actors and stunt people. And Yes!! you can fake the metal chair over the head (especially if the chair is created to buckle in a certain place). Don't believe everything you see (and half of what you hear).

Here's how it works: They plan the winner and some of the moves. But the injuries and risks are real. Like when they do get hit with a metal chair. It's all real. But they plan the winner, etc.

Profit your the ******** retard. Just read your own answer. A 300 day per year circuit for wwe is no more demanding then Brittany Spears 300 day circuit. In real wrestling about 40 to 50 matches per season is average because no one could withstand the true punishment of real wrestling for 300 day a year, WWE is entertainment if you like to call it that but a sport PLEASE! these guys are steroid enhanched acrobats simply put.

I think to some extent it is fake. But when the wrestlers bleed, get seriously injured,or even killed no that's not fake. But if you watch when there punching and things like that you see them miss but they make it out to look like they hit the person.
