People think that because three 6's are 666 but it is quoted that they got the name by having 3 members then 6. Simple as that!
The satan worship thing is just a rumor, that's all :)

I seriously doubt they are and who ares about their religion but it was started because of their name three 6 mafia because the 666 is the sign of the devil and there name is three 6 as in like three 6's and they are saying they are a mafia i havea feeling its just a name a stupid name but a name none the less

I personally don't like Rap Music. The message it sends is not a good Message. All rap music I have heard tells about Killing of Police Officers and Innocent Women, or some sort of Violence. No Wonder Children are more Violent these days. They all try to be Gangsta. When I was a Teenager never in my wildest thoughts did I ever think about killing a Police Officer, or Raping and Killing Women. But Our Music didn't Glorify it either.

Any dolt can worship anything they want, from asperagus to the devil to zuchinni. Any given "band" looks around and gloms onto whatever is "cool" or anti anything and THEY spread the rumor hoping that someone will write QA and ask this question.

no they are no longer... back in the day, theyre call was 'Triple 6 Mafia' yet they replaced it to be much less linked w/ the devil in people's minds. they might have had some satanic tracks back in the day yet now they are merely intense all the time...

coz all those bands r satan worshippers and if it is not then it is a rumor who started it i dont know and i doubt u will ever coz rumors r like a chain u know can never know who started them
