If 10 people in a class of 32 wear glasses, what is the percentage of classmates that don't? How do I work this out?

10 people wear glasses; that means 22 people DON'T wear glasses.
22 divided by 32 equals .6875
Move the decimal 2 places to the right, it becomes 68.75%
So 68.75% of the class does NOT wear glasses (roughly 69%)

the question tells you that ten people out of 32 wear glasses. Simple subtraction tells you that 22 do not wear glasses.

the quck way is make it into a fraction ie 10/32 then its top divided by bottom x 100 then round to nearest so answer would be 10/32 =0.3125, x 100 =31.25 so 31% wear glasses
