The doctors are only 'optimistic' that he will make a good recovery. Hopefully, he will still be able to walk and talk and he isn't paralysed. Hope the accident was nothing to do with when Paul McKenna hypnotised him into being unable to remember how to drive a car, perhaps he had a relapse at a critical moment, will be interesting to see if Paul McKenna visits him, perhaps he could hypnotise him to find out what happened.

I don't think you can make comparison to Steve Irwin and Richard Hammond,

Richard Hammond is not dead, Steve Irwin is.
No, Richard Hammond is in a " stable" condition.

Instead of keeping him in a stable condition, wouldn't it be better to put him in an intensive care ward?

I mean, what has happened to the animals who normally occupy the stable?

yes, injury to the brain is extremely serious. It can cause all sorts of problems. Death is of course the ultimate one. Good luck to him though

I have heard nothing of this sort , he will not be paralysed. He is still in intensive care but is stable. I wish him and his family all the best!!!!
This is a horrible thing to put on here . . . . . .

He's in a 'stable but critical' condition. He shouldn't die but he might be paralysed. Good luck to him.
