Id be very surprised if you can run a USB connection AND an RJ45 ethernet at the same time - its either or......

if you already have a network, then cionfigure the router via ethernet, rather than USB

the USB configs tend to bo11ux ethernet settings - far better to run the router as a standalone device.

I use a BT Voyager which has both ports, but ONLY use the RJ45 ethernet connection..... works a treat

If you indeed have a router that has both USB and RJ45 LAN ports, it will work fine. I haven't seen a router like that though.

You can do a Peer to Peer with a NIC card and a USB network adapter.
