My five week old son has had severe constipation for a few days. I was going to let it fix itself, but yesterday his little hiny-hole was so backed up, he started throwing up and he has a fever too.
Well, I was watching the new show Jericho and I saw that scene where that man gave the girl a tracheotomy to clear up her air passage. This gave me an idea.
I want to give my son a tracheotomy at his "taint" to clear up his fecal passage. I need to know what size PVC pipe to use, and do I need to create some suction or will the blockage come out on its own? Don't worry about me hurting him. I still have some Vicodin from my 17 year old son's wisdom teeth removal.

Ok. You really can't use PVC to clear up an infant's constipation. Also, it is extremely dangerous to give an infant Vicodin, which is a narcotic. There are infant formulas for all kinds of symptomatic relief for babies. Always check with your doctor if you suspect your infant needs care. Call the pediatrician now and give him the baby's symptoms. Any question is valid when you are caring for a newborn.

It depends on how much he weighed when he was born and how much he weighs now. For example if he weighed 7lbs 4 oz at birth and now her weighs 8lbs 6 oz that's roughly a change of 1 lb. You want to go up no more than 1/8" per pound since birth. Now go to this chart

It gets really, really big as you get older. One of the reasons why you shouldn't gain too much weight as an adult.

Now for the Vicoden...I would recommend 3 pills for that age. Crush it and put it all in his bottle.

Congrats on the baby!

You should bring your baby to the doctor, and I would consider getting some help for yourself as well. You might have post partum psychosis. Somthing is not right here. I hope you get well soon, for the sake of your son.

F**cken sick dumb A**... how can u even joke about that... i hope u don't have kids of your own, you big dummy......... Why don't u stick a pipe in your own A** and see how u like it... Maybe if u stick it deep enough you'll clear the passage to your brain that's obviously dysfunctional.!!!

This probably isn't a real question as anyone with a brain would know to go to a doctor immediately.
