Have you tried calling the friend of the court, or who ever handles the child support in your area? or is that who had you on hold forever? If yes, then maybe you should send them a registered letter and request that they call you (make sure you include your phone # don't assume they have it. and times you are available.

If this does not work call and ask for a supervisor of that department, see if that helps.

I hope this info helped you, as a mother of 2 that their father did not pay child support, I empathize with you and I hope you get the jerk good. If he keeps a job (mine didn't) they can garnish his wages.

Good luck

Have you tried writing and sending it by certified mail? H ave you tried the child support office at the local AFDC office. The place where people get help with state to get welfare and foodstamps. I am not being funny here. In FL we have a local welfare office that has an office for child support. They may not do anything but may can give you some direction in who to talk too. I used to have a phone number,an 800# that I had gotten from a commercial and had tried to go thru them for back child support but it did not work for me. I will look for the number, see if I have an old letter from them or something and give it ti you. You donot pay anything to these people unless they are successful in getting the child support for you and then they get only a small portion from each payment until they get their money. It sounded good to me but found that I could not get anything because my son was over 18. If you see this and have an e-mail in case I find it to send it to you, that may be easier. But it's up to you.

He is in pain and can not work. If anything he probably gets 600.00 times 2 weeks. That barely enough to live in california, since evrything is so expensive. I would do what my mom did,... she worked hard and got us by with enough. She worked to support her kids,

try to contact child support agency in county where it was ordered. phone, letter, email. a last resort would be to apply for aid in texas. they would get the ball rolling in california.
