I agree with you loki is a great god. i really like them all though. Zues the god of lightning, Hades god of the underworld, posieden god of the sea, but i think Dionysus the god of wine is probably my favorite because he went around making people crazy. He also is one of the only gods that can take people out of the underworld.

In my opinion I beleive in the Living God. I also beleive that the so called gods that walked the Earth were actually angels also known as watchers. If you notice between different things like Roman and Greeks they have very similar gods but with different names. This would make sense about "Clash of the Titans". The Angels were having sex and breeding half human half angels and created the giants. They have Giant bones in Ohio! Just looking for the locations myself.

If you also look at every culture there is some kind of half man half beast creature in their culture or Giant Beasts like the Egyptians - Romans - Chinese ect. It's crazy how everything links together.

Centaurs? Mythological? Well they did exist - the University of Tennessee has the bones in their library. I can't find the site right now cuz I'm limited on time - must leave work in 10 min so. Well take care

I am a heathen so of course i am going to say Odin & Loki but i also have a thing for Frey. I think Loki is largely misunderstood... I mean, yeah, he did set Hod's aim for Baldur with that sprig of mistletoe. But if you read the lore carefully it clearly states that it's as much Frigga's fault for not finishing her task of blessing all of the objects so that they may not cause harm to her son Baldur,as well as a lesson on loose lips, she had to blab that mistletoe was the only thing she overlooked... Loose lips sink ships baby! or in her case... sons... But for the most part his so called "mischief" is just him telling the unabashed truth... In Lokisana, he calls Thor's second wife Sif out as a "not so honorable woman" why?!?because she was (in a moment of weakness) not so honorable...(Hey Thor was gone for a LONG time) Odin & Loki go hand in hand... you can't welcome one withuot the other... that is just asking for trouble...And Frey well he is just HAWT mmm I just love me some lithe elf boy!

my favorite is Apollo. I know this question has been asked before, because I answered it before. But I'll do it again.

I like Apollo, because he is very much a relaxed god. I don't think of him and associate fear or shame or guilt with him. I can think of him everytime I go to the beach, play music, eat fruit...whatever, he's versatile. He's also one of the handful of Greek gods that found a way to survive in Christian Rome by adapting to a new wave of thought. He was influential before and he still is.

In fact even legends of Apollo continue in the present. Like the Fabio roller coaster one. A roller coaster opened and the theme was something greecian, like Mt. Olympus, or Apollo, if you can imagine something as brazen as that. Fabio was hired to be the actor model playing Apollo for the virgin ride and he proclaimed he was even better than Apollo himself. On the virgin ride a goose hit Fabio in the face and broke his nose. The goose is an animal associated with Apollo. Sounds like a jealous bit of retribution that was warranted to me. I hold to the idea that god concepts still exist.

I don't really have a favorite GOD, but I do have a PANTHEON. I prefer the Greek pantheon to all others, though I couldn't tell you why. I felt this way a long time before Hercules and Xena came out though.

That's a good question. I never really thought about it before....
I think Loki is pretty cool. Even though he was a trouble make, he is still pretty awesome.

my favorite goddess is Gaea. She is basically mother earth and i love all things nature. it's the natural thing we still have left in a material and plastic world. It's nice to think about a Goddess that controls nature and makes all beautiful.
Blessed Be.
