Plug it into another port. Restart your computer. If it isn't recognized, keyboard might not be compatible or functional.

Depends on laptop. You might have to activate the PS2 ports in the BIOS.

make sure to look at the end of the cord on the keyboard to make sure you didn't bend any pins in it

ur PS2 connections might be blocked. see ur settings. bios and all.
