Ok why do SOME homos like what is described in the above question. This is a very valid question, straights across the nation deserve an explanation.

This question was meant to be funny, I cant believe any one would take folks so seriously. You all must question yourself daily. This is a very vaild question for those it applies to. So lighten up and put on your rainbow shirts on and put those equal sign stickers on your car with triple gay pride.

Good Question, I believe there is more confusion than attraction, and all this let everyone do what they want, live how they want is crap. This is not Utopia and people have responsibilities to themselves and to society. If you are a gay man that is attracted to men how dress and act like women, sounds to me like you don't know what team to play for.

I wasn't going to answer this question since I'm not gay, just interested in the answers to your extremely silly question. But then I caught the "straights deserve an explanation" line. Are you kidding? Why do straights deserve an explanation for someone being exactly who they are? Because some don't like it? That's a personal problem and no one owes a person like that any sort of explanation.
You are obviously having a personal problem with stereotypes and clearly don't have clue about gay folks if you think someone who like butches should "just get a guy." I almost feel sorry for you, but not quite.

"Why do straight women always want to feminize their men by making them shave off all their chest, back and facial hair? Isn't this defeating your orientation? Just get a girl if you like girls!"
By parodying your statement with what could might be seen in a small portion of the straight population, hopefully I have shown you how bigoted your question was. Any generalization about "them" [insert group you are biased against] is bound to be stereotypical and not based on reality.

Why would anyone like you? There must be an attraction somewhere under that bitter angry judgmental face. It must be that some girl someday is going to look at you and say he is the one for me. I like his style and his smile.. Or are you just angry because us butch girls have hotter looking women than you can get? Try being nicer and be less worried about everyone else's happiness in life... If you put that energy into your self maybe you too could be thinking about the woman in your life.

Ok, your ignorance is glaringly apparent.
No, just because my partner is a "butch" it doesn't mean I want a male partner. I love HER because she's HER. Not because she looks like a guy, because actually it would be really hard for her to pass as a guy. (if you know what I mean)
I love her for her. I love her humor, her sensitivity, her ability to CRY IN PUBLIC and not be ashamed of it, her tenderness...and yes...HER PARTS!
I don't want a male life partner because even though I'm bisexual and do enjoy the company of men, I don't paticularly enjoy the male "way" in bed.
I don't paticularly enjoy the way most men don't give a rats **** about their female partner, the way it's all about "getting off" for them and nothing more.
How am I "defeting the purpose" of my orientation? What exactly is it that YOU know about MY orientation that I don't?
What makes you the expert about MY orientation?

Why is a heterosexual man attracted to the 23 year old hottie and not the 67 year old grandmother?
The answer to that question- and yours- is that people like what they like. It's not about a 'purpose' to the orientation, it's purely about individual tastes.

For your information, the majority of homosexuals do not care for drag. In fact, many homosexuals find drag queens as well as effeminate/queenie gay men an embarrassment.
Unfortunately, on gay Pride days etc, the media picks up the most outlandishly dressed people and some viewers must imagine that they represent the majority of gays - they certainly do not represent all gay people.

Well, your lack of knowledge of gays is showing, but those who do act as you describe have every right to. Why do you care. I also find it funny how you state this is a serious question, come on your just trolling, which is fine, just don't pretend you really have a curiosity, it's insulting really.

Why do you care? Everyone is attracted to different things in people.
Why do some straight guys like fat, greasy women? Ever go to a mall and see all the fat, greaseball trailer trash heterosexual couples mackin on each other? You think THAT is attractive??
Get over it. PEOPLE ARE DIFFERENT!! People like different things. Nobody knows why people are attracted to different things in other people. Look at George W Bush -- he looks like a monkey....but Laura let's him stick it to her. Go figure THAT one out!!!

well, you're generalizing and stereotyping here...and we prefer not being called "lesbos." everyone has there own personal tastes. I'm lesbian and I DON'T prefer butch women, my partner is very feminine. and most gay men I know don't like drag queens either.

If a guy dates a drag queen, he is usually bisexual, not gay. Gay men like real men.
