1. It means touching the flush handle - they forget that they will be (hopefully) washing their hands in about 20 seconds anyway
2. They have never seen a functioning toilet before because they live in a mud hut
3. They never flush it at home either - never
4. They are ignorant inconsiderate little sh!ts who should be flushed away along with their own turds

they don't want to touch any surfaces.
it's bad enough we have to cut loose in those filthy *** places.
i just don't touch anything i bring a cloth to flush and touch knobs and handles...
i don't wash my hands i just wear gloves and go.
the lesser filth i touch in those places the better.
then i just wash the cloths and gloves when i get back home.
i also figure it as the "when you flush the water sprays up to 6ft" and i guess those who also don't like the filth also don't want the spray.
i think that's a bit anal but it happens.
me i use my foot and as i mentioned above.
i find that a few times after i washed my hands i touched the surface to shut off the spigots.... to only find out i've contaminated my hands again..
so i gave up.
some restrooms are soooooooo BAD i just walk back out and find a bush i mean yuck! what is it already? we are suppose to upkeep sanitary conditions but some of those restrooms look like they should be imploded and started over again.

Some people are very "water conscious" and don't want to waste the water to flush if they just do the #1. Personally, I think they should be a little more "self conscious," b/c who wants to sit on a used toilet???

I believe ALL toilets should have an automatic flush for this very reason!
(even though the auto flush scares the crap out of me! the loud ones make me jump everytime.)

People that do not flush the toilet are disgusting and probably do it because they get a good laugh from it.

Thats why its called public. The truth is noone wants to risk flushing it because when that water comes up oh my God are you in trouble!

They have no manners and no respect for other people. Someone should leave Lincoln logs in there home toilets so they can see someone elses master piece hanging off the side, and see how they feel about it.

For the same reason some people don't return their shopping carts and simply leave them at a random place in the middle of the parking lot ...because some people are f&@king lazy !!!

because they think that since that it isn't their house they dont need to flush their toilets. as far as seeing business.....no one will knoe who's **** is who's so....I guess it doesn't matter to them....for that reason I avoid public restrooms and I when I do need to use them I line the seat and wash my hands thouroughly.

yes, but some people don't want to touch anything in public restrooms, and I can somehow understand that, but still....you can flush it and wash your hands..
