If you do not think he is rubbing it in your face, and you get along with both bride and groom. .... My gut says no why put yourself through it.....Go to a spa for the day and pamper yourself with good books tea and relaxation.... love yourself move on.....

If you are invited it is a token of friendship invitation. In the world of Karma you should always want happiness for the other. Obviously you must be friends, have children together or some connection is there or you would NOT have received an invitation. Many people are very good friends with their EX's and have a marvelous relationship with the new spouse and the ex. In my divorced opinion, it says a lot about a person when they are friends with an ex versus the hater of the ex.

Its customary for the ex to attend IF you had children together and the children are attending. Otherwise its solely based on if you were invited and how good of friends you remained.
I think showing up to the wedding means you are mature and have moved on!
I would suggest though... that even if the groom invited you it would be a good idea to ask the bride if it would make HER uncomfortable (or ask him if you dont know her). It is her day after all....

Would it make you, the groom or the bride uncomfortable?
Even tho' I had a very good relationship with my ex, the gal he's seeing doesn't seem to favor it too much, and I totally understand that. So I keep a very low profile. I doubt I'd be invited, so my answer is, No.

Yes.
I am still friends with all my ex's. Not close friends, but we talk on occasion. They were not the one for me, nor was I the right one for them. I have nothing to be bitter about. I am just happy when they find someone that can make them so happy.

It depends on how things eneded and are u still hanging with the same friends. If u are still friends and there will be alot of other people u know there then I see no reason why u should not.

I feel this is inappropriate. However, there are some unusual people who can continue to be friends even though the relationship is over. If you fall into this category - go for it- one can never have enough friends.

No, usually the reason why the ex is an ex is because I didn't see anything with him..why drag it on with a bogus "friendship"?
