Something really good, to remind me of this momentous occasion when they give away something I actually want.

If you need an idea what I like, the Moody Blues (their early music) are my all-time favourite group.

'Sugar Sugar' by The Archies, unless it's Diet...

PS: The Moody Blues? That's for ancient geezers like me, not young whipper-snappers such as yourself. Hmmmm...from roughly that era, how about 'Fearless' by Pink Floyd? Not one of their most famous, but I like it. If you don't like Liverpool FC skip the end of the song, it's got a live recording of the Kop on it...

Edit: Ry Cooder (suggested by someone else above) is worth discovering. Fabulously talented slide guitarist with an encyclopaedic knowledge of American roots music (I mean, really from all over the place - it's quite amazing) which he weaves in interesting ways into his work. But his stuff is so eclectic that I couldn't pull one track out, if you know what I mean. 'Paradise And Lunch' or 'Chicken Skin Music' are good starts, album-wise.

OK, I'll shut up now.

Kitty Jay by Seth Lakeman

An up and coming folk singer from Devon England who writes songs based on the historical stories from the area he lives in. Full of energy and life. Excellent live and I'm going to see him in October and I can't wait

Can you give us some names of some current bands you like, so I can recommend something you should like but don't know already?

Off the top of my head right now (from your 360), the Yeah Yeah Song by Flaming Lips, Rebellion by Arcade Fire, Made Up Lovesong #43 by Guillemots...
