I agree...Of the three most successful clubs in English Football History, Liverpool and Arsenal are numbers 1 and 3 respectively. I feel these two sides have the most potential to challenge Chelsea for the title this year. Man U is talented but I feel that Sir Alex can get in the way of his own players by trying to be too hands on instead of making the boys just play.
Arsenal along with Barcelona play the most beautiful football in the world, in that they just dont try to go route 1 all the time and just cross in search of headers. They play the ball around and use great skill to open up scoring oppurtunities. Liverpool also does this when Crouch is not in the game.
I feel these two sides get disrespected in English Football becuase they are not as RICH as Chelsea & Man U. The disrespect has to stop, and this will be the year it does!

Yes, this is true i am an arsenal fan born and bred in highbury but i can appreciate just how great liverpool is and i'm sure many arsenal fans would agree that Steven Gerrad is a great player - he should definitely be the skipper for england,
These are two teams who are very grounded whereas Man U and Chelsea have an air of arrogance about them, that's where the difference lies.

I am a life long Liverpool fan.
What are you on?
Us Liverpool fans have never hated Everton, it's rivalry during the derby matches, but then we go to the pub for a bevvy or 2 together.
Liverpool fans hate Arsenal. Not many of us have forgiven them for 1989 yet, despite signing Michael Thomas the following season (who then scored a vital goal in the 1992 FA cup final).

I agree with you. I've always thought Arsene Wenger was a gentleman and the way Arsenal play the ball around so beautifully is down to his coaching. He should get an honorary knighthood (as long he isn't involved in any bung business).
Raffa is a serious guy who doesn't take any crap from his players. I think he disciplined badboy Craig Bellamy by leaving him out of the side the other week.

They do have respect for each other and have a history of good football, with some impressive spells over the years. It's not the kind of respect any other teams have for each other.
