Friends
Thank you vary munch for all your words of encouragement.
God bless all. To those who wonder why I don’t just find a job, and why
I lost my job. It was do to lay off, after 10 years driving a truck I was let go. My mother is living with us so I have been staying home days with her and working part time at night. Until a place comes open for my mom in the home.

Been there! But the thing that gets me through the day then and now is the fact that I know there are many more people worse off than I am and ever was. I have gained that prospective from years in police work and my own battle with cancer. If you ever want to be thankful for what you have visit a cancer ward at a hospital.

I knew things would improve and even at my lowest ( when I was diagnosed) I knew. Obviously, I am still here although I am not 100%, I again give thanks for not being the worse case scenerio which doctors love to phrase things in.

You have to start by accepting your situation and more importantly appreciate what you do have in front of you. Wife, kids and hopefully your health. Change what you can change and don't worry about what you can't. I am not a "religious" person but I believe in a higher spiritual power and I can assure you that if you make the universe aware of what your needs are then things will begin to change but you have to be open to the opportunities around you. GOD does work in mysterious ways and it is but for our own blindness that we don't see the answers around us!

IF money is an issue then I suggest you consider any job that will provide a source of income. With at least some money coming you can focus on improving your situation. I would also suggest visiting http://www.firstgov.gov/ which is the FED's web portal to all of the programs available. Hope it helps!

MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN THERE. WE WERE IN THAT HOLE FOR ABOUT 7 YEARS AND DIDN'T SEE A LIGHT AT THE END. BUT YOU ARE RIGHT, JUST WHEN YOU THROW UP YOUR HANDS TO GOD AND SAY I GIVE. YOU HAVE CONTROL BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE A CLUE WHAT TO DO. THAT IS WHEN OUR WORLD STARTED TO CHANGE IN A BIG WAY. WE WENT IN A DIRECTION WE NEVER WOULD HAVE THOUGHT OF ON OUR OWN. SO JUST KEEP AN OPEN MIND. TRY NOT TO OVER THINK THIS. TRY NOT TO WORRY ABOUT THE FUTURE. I WAS A HUGE WORRIER SO I CAN SAY THAT TO YOU. I GAVE THAT UP. DON'T THINK TOO FAR AHEAD. TODAY IS ENOUGH. LET GOD HANDLE THE DETAILS. YOU HAVE PLENTY ON YOUR PLATE FOR ONE DAY. CONGRATULATIONS ON THE BLESSED EVENT, A NEW ANGEL IS COMING. MAYBE Y'ALL ARE GIVING BIRTH TO THE NEXT PRESIDENT . HOPE THIS WASN'T TOO CORNY FOR YOU. I WILL PRAY FOR YOU AND I WILL ASK MY FAMILY TO ALSO. I WISH YOU AND YOURS HEALTH AND PEACE OF MIND. KEEP YOUR HEAD UP. YOUR FAMILY DRAWS THEIR CUES FROM YOU RIGHT NOW. WHENEVER WE HAVE HARD TIMES I TAKE MY SIGNALS FROM MY HUSBAND. IF HE IS COOL THEN I CAN REASSURE MY SELF. IF HE SEEMS PANICKY THEN I FREAK. I AM A CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT ALSO. I HAVE SPECIALIZED TRAINING ON A LOCKED DOWN ALZHEIMER'S UNIT. THAT'S REALLY ROUGH. MY OWN GRANDMOTHER DIED FROM IT. MY HUSBAND'S GRANDMOTHER ALSO DIED WITH IT BUT EVENTUALLY SUCCUMBED TO CANCER. POOR THING. THANKFULLY THOUGH, SHE DIDN'T SUFFER TOO LONG, MY GRANDMOTHER, WAS ONLY 48 WHEN SHE STARTED TO GET CONFUSED AND SHE WAS IN A VEGETATIVE STATE BY 52. YOUNG. WELL, I THINK IT IS GOOD THAT YOUR REACHING OUT. REACH OUT TO YOUR CHURCHES MAYBE JUST ONCE JUST TO GET A BOOST WITH THE RENT. THINK ABOUT IT.
