Si si si.... I love alot of those bands, mostly the ones who only released demos. My favourites are Tryx etc.. i also like the mainstream ones like Crue and Poison. But you cant forget the few in the 90s like Heart Throb Mob and Alleycat Scratch. They are my influences and some very sexy guys ;)

Motley was and will always be King of the Sunset Strip Glam scene. Sixx practically invented it with his band London from mixing punk and early 70's British glam. London ruled the Strip for a few years and then Nikki went on to form Motley and the scene exploded from there. Blackie Lawless, Ratt and Quiet Riot became pretty big in those early days too. Guns n' Roses, Faster Pussycat, along with L.A. Guns brought some fire back to that scene in the later 80's. Motley Crue was only the 3rd rock band ever signed in the L.A., Hollywood area. The Doors were the 1st and Van Halen the 2nd. To me Motley was the original Hollywood Show Band that wouldn't play by the rules. If it wasn't for Motley Crue the 80's wouldn't be known as the decade of sex, drugs and rock n' roll. They began that whole California Sleaze Rock thing. If your in that area still today and you catch that rock vibe down there among the people about that scene, you know that Nikki Sixx is known as King of the Hollywood streets.

Now that i'm older i am into many musical styles, but the few 80's glam bands that stuck with me are: Motley Crue, Poison, Faster Pussycat and Guns n' Roses.
