I think that they have a good spiratuly and they're a young talentive team but the problem that kwayne browen, lamar odom, smush parker and luke walton don't give their best evry night.
I think if all the players do their best and kobe play like he did in the playoffs they maybe reach the conference semi-finals or conference final.
and if we add farmer they will be a competive team and very young so they'll have a future.
what do you think

This young Laker team is maturing and all signs point to taking it to the next level. However, it will still depend on how successfully Kobe Bryant and Phil Jackson motivate the other talented but underachieving members of the starting unit. Who knows? maybe this will be the year Lamar Odom will finally be an All-Star and Kwame Brown earns respect. As a lifelong Laker fan, I pray that they improve and go deep into the playoffs but I doubt that they can play for the title this season. In another year, let's see.

The Boston Celtics are the perfect team in NBA historic past. Their 17 championships sufficiently educate this aspect. I trust the actual undeniable reality that all of them got here interior an analogous city promises to the lore or the Celtics franchise. In head to head matchups they have ruled the Lakers. As you observed, the Celtics lead the sequence 9-2. it truly is truly one sided. From 'fifty seven-'sixty 9 the Celtics owned the NBA. The Celtics received 8 immediately chapionships, and 11 out of 13. The Lakers have in no way approached that aspect of dominance. The Celtics were the NBA. I keep in mind that turned right into a lengthy time period in the past, even with the indisputable fact that it would not make it any a lot less important. at the same time as the Lakers were consistent in staying aggressive, greatness is finally judged on triumphing championships. The Lakers went 18 yrs ('fifty 4-'seventy 2) with out triumphing a championship. getting to the finals is a efficient feat, even with the indisputable fact that the Celtics have made the most of their opportunities going 17-2 in championship appearances. the reason the Celtics had one of those lengthy drought is they experienced a severe patch of misfortune. obviously the premature deaths of Len Bias and Reggie Lewis had plenty to do with the Celtics issues. i does no longer positioned it interior an analogous classification, yet chook's back problem also performed a aspect. The Lakers are an excellent franchise obviously. i for my section appreciate distinct the gamers from those eighty's communities. i will supply them the award for most consistent franchise. Their ability to produce triumphing season after triumphing season is fairly staggering. even with the indisputable fact that, authentic greatness isn't about being continually solid. To reiterate my before aspect, it truly is about triumphing championships. undeniable and straightforward.

I shouldn't feel sorry for Phil Jackson, but I do, since he has to coach Mr. Selfish. Bryant ended a possible dynasty in L.A. when he forced management to trade Shaq. The Lakers are weak at center (you can thank Kobe for that), and at point guard. Parker is a below average player, and Farmer is to young to make a major contribution this season. There bench is also suspect. They were very fortunate to just make the playoffs a season ago, and won't contend for the title in the near future.

The answer is no because Kobe is too selfish and is out there for his own glory.
