Am I A Lesbian?

Dear Readers,
Ever since I was little I was always a tomboy liking guys sports, games, being a fighter. My question is I'm not attracted to guys' bodies at all. There's 0 % attraction to me. However, I'm very attracted to womens' bodies and facial features, and of course personalities. I come from a very strict religious family who are Roman Catholics. I've been afraid to tell them anything. I know they'll still accept me thank God, but I know they won't support me in my decisions. They'd try to do everything as long as I lived there to make me like men. lol. ;-) It's just gross to me because I have no attraction to masculine features and mens' bodies. I really do have mental illness and it's hard for me to reason things out. I'm sorry if this question sounds like it has an annoyingly obvious answer. But I really am confused. I also can't stand really feminine looking clothes and definitely can't stand dresses and skirts. Neither do I like make-up.

If you are not attracted to men, and you are attracted to women, there's a good chance that yes, you are a lesbian.

Don't worry about labels. Just follow your heart.

My dear you may not be a Lesbian but you may be a man in a womans body. Either way you are not alone. You have to become true to yourself. You can either say you are a lesbian and that is ok. You are only guilty because of the extreme religious teachings of your childhood. This religion has not made ammendment in their teachings for the one like you that are chemical or dna wised, not made up like the rest of the 95% of the people. There is nothing wrong with you if you are willing to accept you as you are. Once you do that.. your mind and body will fall into place. Your family will be disappointed yes, but you will then not have this tremedous guilt hanging around your head. This guilt is unfounded and you need to release it as soon as possible. You are the way you are ,because nature has made you this way. What ever it is, it is not your fault ,nor the fault of anyone. Hedrosexuals don't understand as they can not feel this way as you do. It will not be easy, but you have to examine your life and be your true self. Let it out and go on with your life. As like everything in life, nothing is free and what you learned as a child may not be true as an adult within your world. You must look to your future happiness and set your tracks for the happiness for you. As you are the important one here.

You don't need to be concerned of how others will think of you. Your sexual preference does not make you a bad person. People can be cruel, and so can family. You are who you are and just except it. I think it is horrible for family members, especially parents, to mess with their children's heads and try to make them into something they are not because they are in fact insecure themselves. That is mentally damaging to a person. This may sound selfish, but it can't be more true...you need to make yourself a priority and do what's right for you. Too many people neglect themselves because they feel obligated to take care of other feelings and needs. While that is good, you should always make sure that you are taken care of. No one will do a better job at that than yourself. I know this is cliche but LOVE YOURSELF! lol

Yes you are. In fact, you sound like a guy in a womans body. And it's not even about people supporting your decision on this, because you have no say in what your attracted to, so there is no decision other than choosing to suppress it or not. I'm not supressing my heterosexuality, so you shouldn't supress your lesbianism. Be yourself. It's difficult sometimes, but much more worth it regardless of who's on your side or not. And regardless of how many idiots give me thumbs down for saying this truth.

P.S.: You say you don't like skirts and feminine looking clothing. You mean you don't like it on you right? But you like seeing girls in them. Girls are incredible looking in the right kind of skirts.

Not knowing your age makes answering a little more difficult..However, it does seem that your leanings in terms of sexual prefrences is lesbian. And that is not wrong nor is it a sin God loves us just as we are.He accepts you as you are.If you find love with another woman then let that love grow.just try to always be monogomous..You might try talking to your priest,if he seems like he is a kind man with a gentle,listening heart..I wish you the best of luck and a life filled with joy and happiness and peace.

Sounds like you are. The best thing for you to do it try it out. And don't worry about what your family thinks. They may be uncomfortable with it in the beginning, but once they see that you're happy, I'm sure they come to terms with it.

sounds like it but if your family trys to make you something your not you need to get away,you are who you are and if they cannot except that it doesn't mean you have to deal with it.do what makes you happy.
