there r many state government programs where u get get stuff for free but someone somewhere paid for the free stuff.if u work n pay taxes u have paid for the so-called free stuff.nothing is free n u will always have to pay ur way.u think ur getting stuff free cause u didnt actually come out of ur pocket but believe me u paid somewhere.most things that r free r either promotional deals or donations made by ppl.its not what the country can do for u its what u can do for ur country...sorry no free rides unless u make a living having babies n the tax payer pays for it.Then u become a charity case....some ppl really need these programs cause they really are in need of assistance.i think its wrong to take advantage of these programs if u dont really need it.

Read the classifieds in your local paper, they usually have give-aways in the paper.
plus you could always place free adds looking for free stuff.
If you are looking for free food, you could go and visit a mission house, perhaps offer to help serve, then you wouldn't feel as though you were mooching off of the poor.
If you are looking for free clothing, go to salvation army, or goodwill. donate what you don't need, and get new in exchange.
If you are looking for free hobby stuff, go to a thrift shop/pawn shop, you could trade in stuff that you don't want, and get stuff that you do.
Clip coupons, enter contests.
Don't know what else I can tell you.

There are great places to get a free meal, Wal-mart, Sams Club or the mall either one when they're giving away samples for food!
How do I know? I've done it before. hahahaha
