The answer is yes, if the mp3 has bluetooth capabilities. Bluetooth is a type of communication (wireless)
It would require two things (a) that the divice have bluetooth and (b) that the bluetooth and the other device be compatible (when I bought my bluetooth and my phone both devices had a list of compatible devices
