he didn't introduce me to his mother. he's 43 and I'm 41 am I being childish?

Talk to him about it. I'm a guy and I would be hesitant to have my girlfriend meet my mother because my mother NEVER thinks any girl is good enough for me - and I'm tired of seeking my mother's approval. Talk to him - he may have a good reason.

Give him the benefit of the doubt. Maybe he hasn't told him mom about you. Just because you have been dating for a year doesn't mean that its to the level of meeting mom. Maybe the next time mom comes in to town. In any case talk to him and ask him the reason why he didn't introduce you to his mother.

You have something to be concerned about. If he did not introduce you to his mother he does not feel the relationship is that serious maybe more casual. You need to talk about this with him asap.

Ask him. Communication is key. It could be he is embarassed by his mother or is afraid she would say something to hurt you.
But, you can't know if you don't ask.
