I was watching the replay of his interview with Wolf Blitzer where he stated he would order troops into Pakistan if he had good intelligence saying Bin Laden was there. What if Russia or China was where Bin Laden was hiding? Are no borders safe? I coulda swore Pakistan is an ally. No wonder the rest of the world is calling Bush another Hitler, or the "devil". Could we not ask Pakistan first instead of pissing off another country? Anyway, are hundreds more of our sons and daughters going to die invading an ally?

One of the responders asked what else should we do? I never stated that Bin Laden doesn't need to be captured, my question was self-explanitary, are any borders safe? Not whether we should go after him or not.

Sending US troops across borders does not necessarily mean an invasion if their actions are limited and overseen by the sovereign government of that country. The US has had troops in Colombia for years (they call them advisers) fighting the drug trafficking guerrillas.

The south of Afghanistan borders an area of Pakistan ruled by tribes and militias with very little control of the central government. It is believed Bin-Laden is hidden there and protected by these tribal militias. The mediocre invasion of Afghanistan left in the south of the country a safe haven for the Taliban fighters and they are arming, becoming powerful again and going back and forth to Pakistan to buy weapons.

A military incursion into that dangerous area of Pakistan is almost a suicidal mission but at some point it will have to be made as part of the REAL effort to fight terrorism but as the interview says the US would need very GOOD INTELLIGENCE. Let's just hope they've learned what that means after the Iraq fiasco.

Pakistan did sign a treaty with al Qaida.

I'm usually against Bush, but if Pakistan is protecting bin Laden then we should go after him.

Of course, it won't happen...Bush has no interest in capturing bin Laden, he's already said so. He's still buddies with the bin Laden family.

Anywho, yes, I can't wait for Bush to be impeached. He and his administration need to answer to their crimes.

So you would prefer that UBL remain protected and free to continue his jiihad? All we need is alittle airspace clearence and probably under 100 troops. We have no interest in taking over Pakistan...just going in for a short visit get what we need and then back out...
Was it ok with you that we passed France thru on the way to Berlin? Did we take care of business and leave...of course and then we spend billions to rebuild and get much of Europe back on it's feet.

Maybe you rather wait until UBL's guys are in your backyard?

If he doesn't do something then down the road America could see an attack much worse than 9-11 & they might even start attacking our allies too. I don't think any of us want that. What else is he supposed to do...let them get away with it? I don't think so.
