1. Good Beaches, Horseneck in Westport is both good and relatively cheap, the cape has a great number of beaches.
2. Good higher education, In addition to Harvard, MIT, Tufts, BU, and BC, the state system is also pretty good.
3. Good primary education, in addition to a number of high ranking private schools, the public system is still relatively good.
4. If you don't mind living in a fairly diverse ethnic community, rent can be cheap.
5. Car insurance rates are state controlled so they can't rip you off more than is allowed by law.

NOT SURE if it is true, but I've heard that most folks from Massachussettes are rather snobby and talk a bit funny. If you plan to move there, please do your research and have a job lined up!! Good luck!!!
