What is the role of a travel rep when on an excursion? i have searched the net and cant find nething!!!! its for an assignment for lesiure and tourism.

The travel representative is there to help the traveler by providing the following services:
. Modify itinerary and book necessary services like hotels, restaurants, and transportation (air, rental car, rail, coach, etc)
. Aid the traveler with directions if necessary.
. Aid the traveler in finding services like currency exchange or other banking.
As a business traveler, I rely on my travel representative to manage my itinerary since it may be dynamic depending on circumstances.
