rap and hip-hop have taken over mtv. rock and stuff have almost been totally eliminated. at least we have fuse!!!!

no.. but i am mad that they won;t release Tom Green's show out on DVD!!
But I do agree with you guys.. mtv use to be great.. now.. it really sucks!!! I dunno about you, but i sure as heck don't want to see some whiny 16 plan a party.. they suck now!

MTV still plays music? LOL. Last I saw it was just a bunch of reality/ random shows. It's true Fuse is better in the rock genre though, MTV is outdated hardly ever showing music videos anymore. I like all types a' music, rock is my favorite. I dont even consider MTV a music channel anymore.

i only see hip hop on TRL. I still think MTV is all about rock which is why i hardly watch BET anymore. I need a variety of music, not just one kind and especially not rap/hip-hop. i think MTV has it all.

I'm more put off by the fact that they typically don't show ANY music videos anymore. But whatever, if I don't like what I'm watching I just flip the channel.
