It has to be treated. A bladder infection happens as a result of bacterial activity, and bacteria generally don't just go away. Bladder infections are difficult to treat. When you do get on a treatment regimen be sure to take ALL the medications given you - don't stop when the symptoms get better. These things are stubborn and can reoccur.

Yes, it needs to be treated. Better get treatment before it gets bad. It can become the worse pain in the world. Your lower back will hurt and your side will too.

I just got over a really bad infection, I was in the hospital over night with an I.V. in my arm. The doctor ran four bags of antibotics through me. When I signed out, he prescribed me Ciprofloxacin.

He also told me Cranberry Juice does not help an infection.

No it wont go away, I thought that once and tried the juices. The pain would subside making me think it had gone away then it would come right back in a week or 2. This went on about 4 months. Doctor gives you antibiotic pill. Mine was I think 6 pills that I took over 3 days. Very simple and fast so definately worth going to doctor for.

It needs to be treated or it will get much worse. Then it will be more painful, and take longer to get rid of. Just go to the doctor. They will have you pee in a cup and give you some antibiotics. They will also probably give you something for the pain and uncomfortableness

Unfortunately you will need antibiotics. I get them quiet often, some women are just more prone than others to get them and it will happen occasionally no matter what precautionary measures they take. Get you some antibiotics and drink plenty of water and cranberry juice.
