yeah, lets all sue automakers for forcing millions of californians to drive large gas guzzling automobiles. Nobody wants to take any responsibility...worthless people, what a waste of time. Was everyone in California driving Honda Accords 20 years ago to help counteract smog? No...deal with it

If I were the automakers I would suspend all the licenses for the car dealers in California. I would make it illegal to sell my vehicles in the state of California and if you buy one out of the state I would make the customer sign a waiver stating this vehicle will not be used in California!
I bet California would drop their lawsuit!

I say all car makers pull out of California, close all dealerships, refuse to ship spare parts to California, get all out of state fuel suppliers to stop shipments. Gee, their air would be so clean in a week or two.
We should just let Mexico have that stupid state

The automakers aren't responsible for the smog, it's the people who are driving the cars. If they would drive less, fewer emissions.
But it's easier to blame someone else for something that we are all responsible for. The sad thing here is that rather than drive less, California wants us all to pay for their excesses. Ever been out there, nothing but SUVs and overpowered luxury cars.

I think it is a dumb and money-grubbing as people who sue fat food companies because they arefat. They try to make a company pay for something they did not force them to do. Stand up to the fact that it was a choice people made and are the only ones responsible for the results.

California would better utilize their tax dollars on their numerous social programs. Apparently there are lawyers that are pushing this agenda. They are the only ones that will benefit.
