You can buy a can of compressed air and spray it into the crevices.
OR>>>Take the keys off one row at a time and place them in the order that they are on the keyboard. Get some q tips and dab them in a little bit of water and then clean away at the keyboard. Replace the keys when you are finished. If you have spilled soda or something really sticky, you're probably better off buying a new keyboard. I bought mine for 10 dollars from Walmart.

If it is really dirty, remove the keys gently making sure you remember where they go and then clean it. I used to do this once in a while to really give my keyboard a good clean. But do it when you are not in a hurry, otherwise you will put your keys back in the wrong place. LOL
All the best with that.
Ps. You can buy a little usb keyboard vacuum, but they are not very good, so don't waste your money.

Unplug it from your computer.
Tip it up and give it a good shake to get rid of crumbs, hair, etc
Get a clean, soft, dry brush like a child's toothbrush or pastry brush to brush around and between the keys.
Finally, get a clean soft cloth or even better, clean cotton gloves. Dip a finger tip of cloth in a mixture of warm water and washing up liquid so it is just damp, not wet or dripping. Wipe each key gently with the cloth.
There are commercial cleaners available, but why waste money and use all those chemicals?

Now it depends on the keyboard you are talking about, are you talking about an organ keyboard, or a PC keyboard, a Pc one just needs vacuuming with the smallest nozzle you have, an organ one, a damp cloth, with a little washing up liquid on it, and a small piece of flat wood, put your cloth on to it to get in to the small corners, not too wet with the cloth though.

I clean mine with a soft paintbrush...one I bought just for cleaning the keyboard. Just pick one up at a dollar store, it doesn't have to be top of the line. Those cans of compressed air work great, but they get expensive after awhile.

You can use a crevise tool, that flat noozle thing on your Hoover, to get all the yuck bits out from between the keys. In between those times a soft bristle paintbrush is a good idea, I keep one in the pen pot next to my computer. And a periodic baby wipe doesn't do any harm! Having a black keyboard helps as they don't show up the muck as much!!

Dip a toothbrush into some soapy water, wait until it is slightly damp and then just scrub between the keys. Wipe it over with a dry cloth.
