No, George Formby is dead.
He was a competent player of the ukulele banjo as an accompaniment to his songs, whether or not this made him a good musician is down to personal opinion.

Grammatically speaking...NO!. Cause he's been dead for quite some time.
Musically speaking....NO!..Cause anyone can pluck a banjo and sound good.Don't forget that entertainment in his day was easy cause all you had to do was lean on lamposts and clean the odd window!

no he wasn't that good but anyone can sound good on a banjo and his saucy songs for that time got him through, but to-day he would miss the boat
