I am only 26 years old and i think i may have high blood pressure,the doctor put this blood pressure monitor on me to keep on for 24hrs and that will determine if i need medication or not,but if i do need meds is it possible that i dont have to take the meds for life?what can i do to prevent that?

I've had it since I was about 24 years old. I am now 33 and I still take meds for it. I have tried all sorts of natural remedies but I can't seem to keep it down without the meds. I do not have a high salt intake, I think it has a lot to do with how I respond to stressful situations. It can also be hereditary.

quit smoking ,cut out salt.fat free diet ,more exersise.loose weight
