Well, I am on the depo, it's my first shot that i have taken and well, I bled for a month straight when I first got it because it screws up your hormones, but then it quit and I thought I was fine. That was almost two months ago when the bleeding quit. And anyway, a week or so ago, I started bleeding, but I don't have my period anymore. It wasn't spotting, at first it was, but it got worse, like a light period, is something wrong with me?

There's nothing wrong with you. This is a VERY common side-effect of depo. Talk to you doctor about it. There are a lot of other types of birth control available -- may of which don't require daily medication (e.g. the patch).

I had the same kind of problems when I was on depo and it eventually went away but not until after I received my second shot. Your body has to adjust to the new hormones and for some people it takes more time.

Good luck!

I did the same thing, and I got off of that shot, because it made me feel horrible.

this is the big disadvantage of depo, random bleeding,or no bleeding at all.
