Should it be the wind that blew it away?
Or the tree that let it go?
Or the leaf itself that never held on tight?

no one to blame in those scenarios.
its necessary so that the tree can produce better plumage,
renewing itself, giving other a new leaf a chance to smell this life. the fallen leaf provides food as manure or some insect feeds on it on the ground i.e snails etc
so its a cycle without anyone to blame.

The Tree- and here's why:

NOT ALL trees shed their leaves seasonally or otherwise. Therefore, a tree will shed its leaves due to its inability to ADAPT to its environment. Darwin would agree the tree's inability to adapt to the environment, wind, cold or otherwise and protect itself is it's innate flaw and its own fault.

a stupid question that doesn't even deserve a stupid answer. but it sure reveals the present state of things, though; why does there have to be blame attached to everything?
who should be blamed if the leaves don't fall?
