Yes, if legally, you can't be together yet.

It's never wrong to fall in love. However, do you think it is really love? Or is it just a crush? When you're young sometimes it's hard to tell the difference. As an elder, I'm 31, and having more experience than I did as a teen, what I felt was love then I now know was nothing more than a teen crush or even just teen lust. Looking back it seems as a teen I was always attracting older men, even though I never dated any of them. (My dad would have killed them!) Now I wonder what they realy wanted with a teenage girl. I know at that age I truly had nothing to offer an adult man, other than sex, which is not what I wanted out of a relationship at that time. Anyway, I am speaking of my own experience which is all I have to go by. I could never attempt to guess what is in your heart and in the heart of this man. You need to listen to your gut instinct and decide if it is really love and if you think it is love than what are you going to do with it and also find out what his intentions are. If you are making a mistake it will only make you wiser. The trick is to learn from it and not make the same mistake twice.

Do you mean like in Puppy Love; where you admire (and love) at a distance? That happens all the time. If you mean romantically involved; it's a mistake. Get out of the teenage raging hormone stage of life and then age differences aren't such an issue. In the meantime enjoy being a kid, it doesn't last long.

Well, you can't really call any felt emotions a "mistake", cause they are delivered to us like the weather. But it would be a risky relationship to pursue for two main reasons. First of all, it is probably statutory rape to have sex which could land the man in jail. But second, especially at the ages in question, six years is a big difference. I would not recommend it, as painful as it might be to stop. Sorry to say.

Minor as in MINOR?!

There's no mistake in love. It's the actions that you take that determines the consequences you have to deal with. They're not pretty by the way. So wait, you'll find someone around your age group in a few years.

Yes it is. Stay within your age or you will have problems. It is still up to you though. It depends how old you are too! If you are almost 18 years old, it may work out for you. At 18 you are considered an adult and can do what you want in your life.

Yes it is. It's probably also against the law. I mean, two or three years difference perhaps... but 6 years and one is older than the other, BIG no.

This would not be a problem if they are both over 18, theny no one cares, but if one is under 18 and the other one is 6 years older than I think is a bad idea

no it is not a mistake. Im in love with a man who is 13yrs older then me. Were engaged to be married. What i believe is that age is just a number. What really matters is that you two care for each other and love each other and treat each other right.

I guess it would depend on what age you are talking, and it would depend on how the other person feels. If you are talking 14, 15, yeah, that is pretty young to fall in love, you have barely begun to live. 17?? hmm, still pretty young but...each person is different.

Not really, but don't act upon it until you are of legal age. Down the road, 6 years isn't a big difference. Right now it is.
