Why is everybody happy when someone wins a lawsuit against the government when the money is payed by taxpayers

This country is known for it's lawsuits throughout the world,our judges can't keep up with number of them,many are frivolous lawsuits that questionable lawyers file against the government and many US citizens not only agree but think it's great,first,the government has no money,it's the taxpayers that are stuck with the bills,next time you jump up for joy because an inmate won a lawsuit because they took away his TV privileges,remember,it's out of your pocket

Most people are, in fact, hypocritical ignoramuses. Hey! Remember those asbestos suits? Every hard-working Tom Dick & Harry was more than willing to fake their way onto the gravy train for a payout.

We're a nation of many high-sounding "values", running chronically short of real "virtues".

We love giving empty answers like ... "that's just the way it is."

Not just against the Gov. - You ever get offers for class action against some financial company because they didn't disclose some fee or Epson printers because you can't use the print cartridges down to the end - etc etc. Boy we really show those giants - we got a check for $11.60 and the lawyers could buy a small country. Wake up people - we are paying the bill!

Most people are happy because something (hopefully) close to justice has been done. For every dumbass inmate suing because he can't practice his imaginary religion, there are people filing because of legitimate grievances, like the farmers who encountered systematic, documented discrimination from the Farm Bureau and lost their farms as a result.

The fact is, insurance companies and crooked politicians WANT you to think that people sue for every insane thing and recover insane amounts of money all the time. it just doesn't happen. Even the mcdonalds lady had her insane award reduced.
