my husband is the same way. He is totally tight lipped. I just ignore him and we ignore each other. It's great. JK

You can't make anyone do what they don't want to do. You don't say how long you have been married, maybe he's in a comfortable rut and doesn't realise you are upset by his lack of conversation. Have you tried telling him how you feel? Do YOU talk to HIM? What are his hobbies/interests and do they coincide with your own? If your marriage is worth persisting with you may have to take an active interest in the things he likes, to get him talking. If you've come to the end of the road and you no longer have things in common, then maybe it's time to end the marriage. Only you can answer that one.

I can't help but wonder why you would marry someone who won't talk to you. Some people are naturally quiet, but you probably need to tell him his total lack of conversation makes you feel bad/sad and see where THAT conversation goes...

Know what he's doing first of all.If not,learn and try to understand and always be a good listener when he talks about work or anything that might have bored you earlier.Listening is a good start.He'll be more n more open to you.Give yr ideas n thoughts every now and then regarding his colleague,workplace...or his favorite channel.Be patient and things will work out fine.

Most men are stupid and don't know how to "communicate". Yeah, it's enough to really piss you off, but there's absolutely nothing you can do about it. You just have to accept it and when you feel like talking, that 's what your best girl friends are for.

try to intiate conversation. What did u do today? Or just talk to him about him not talking. tell him u're concerned and wish he would share things more.

not much to go on...if he hasn't talked the whole time you've been married then how do you guys get along? if his not talking to you, really upsets you then tell him that and tell him if he don't start talking to you...you are going to leave him...see what his reaction to that would be..
