Judging by the offensive trailer, yes. I hated the way the pregnant woman was treated - does she even get to talk in the movie, or is she just shuffled around for the sake of the plot development between the two white main characters?

The trailer was messed up. I hated that she was constantly referred to as a "girl". I hated that the first time you see her in it, it's in a barn where she strips naked for Clive Owen at the command "show him". Geeze.

Very interesting (and scary) story premise; totally screwed up trailer.

Star I - it is totally ignorant of you to think that about the film from just the trailer! You obviously have no idea what the film is about, and if you watched it you would realise that the women you see in the trailer is not portrayed how you see her. In fact it is the opposite. Yes there are race issues in there, but it wouldn't be a true film without them becasue that is life - we can't ignore it. Anyway i think you should see the film, it's possibly the best film i have ever seen and has left me completely shell shocked.

As for the question - yes of course it would be scary if the world did come to that, but can't you see that it is already happening... We are protected from many of the realities, but there are places in the world which are in just as much destruction as portrayed in that film. I can't imagine it getting to the stage where there are no more children becasue we can already produce test tube babies and would find some other way of 'growing' babies. But the destruction and break down of civilisation is a real concern. Makes one wonder if they should bring children into this world... What would we be letting them into?

That's why it's a good idea to have some of you're sperm or eggs frozen.
Once fertilized, a fetus can grow almost anywhere in the human body.
There have been cases of women who've had their fallopian tubes tied, only to have the ova slip through the gap, and grow on the intestine or another organ. It is not safe for the mother, but it is possible.
