Oh my Lord...I haven't laughed so hard in a long time!!! The Leafs spend 5 million on a defenceman who won't hit, shoot or block shots..and you wonder if they will win the Cup??? Excuse me while I clean the coffee off my monitor...laughed out loud, goldang it!

As a Leafs fan, going into this season, I really don't think the Leafs will challenge for the Cup. But, the great thing about sport is that you never know what might happen. Who thought that the Hurricanes would win it all last season? Who would have bet on an Edmonton/Carolina final?
I think Maurice is the key. If he can build the right system around the players, then anything can happen. Talent wise, the Leafs arn't the best, but if Cups were given out on the basis of most talented teams, the Rangers would have been winning many more Cups than they have recently.
At this point, it's anyone's Cup.

the Leafs are a much worst team then last year and they will miss the playoffs once again. and who cares about Domi he was hurting your team for years not doing his job and making way to much money for the type of player he is, you guys could of sign 40 to 50 points scores for the amount Domi was getting in the past 5 years which he clearly was playing horible hockey.

Domi was a factor in the dressing room, but not so much on the ice. Besides we still have Mats and Peca in the dressing room, so we do have a chance and it's not because Domi's gone.

Tie Dummy? Who's Tie Dummy? If he wasn't a Laff, would he even register on the T.O. mouthpieces--TSN or Sportsnet?
Yeah, Tie Dopey was the reason the Maple Syrups won all those Cups in the '40s thru '60s.

tie domi was not the problem still make playoffs but not much else this year.

Not quite. Would be nice.
They have a lot of work to do to be able to accomplish that feat first. But,they are going to have a better season than everybody is saying. You'll will be surprised! They will make the playoffs.
