Defentaly excel and you can even use code to calculate the grades and give coments like if>=65 pass or if <=65 fail or >=90 excellent.

Microsoft Excel can make a spreadsheet for a report card. If you don't have Excel, get OpenOffice and use Calc...it's basically the same thing as Excel, but it's FREE.
