At my college they were called scan-trons.. and yes, if you don't fully erase the smudge marks it can pick up as a wrong answer.. that's why almost all of the teachers went over the answers with the class after it was graded, so that they could check to make sure an error hadn't occured. Also, one time a teacher put the wrong answer code in.. so the machine failed almost everyone lol.

Yes, it is possible if you did not erase it completely. The scanners pick up on the darkened boxes and if it read two answers for the question it would have marked it wrong regardless if one answer was correct.

I don't think I understand what you are asking. Did you erase the correct answer, and did you erase it thoroughly? Sometimes it will pick up anywhere you marked on the scanner sheets. (especially if you are marking heavy or with a dark lead)

Yes .
usually in a such a testcase we use pencil
and scanner the mark by carbon of pencil
if you have erased but still some carbon is there ,Scanner will mark the question and will find it wrong

i have taken a test like that i think that you just have to make sure that you rub the wrong answer out properly. try not to make it show.

yes, but if it showed 2 answers it should have flagged for the teacher to manually inspect.

Bring it to the attention of your teacher.
