I am writing an essay and need some input.. Please serious answers only

To me it means that we have a well written, organized plan on which to form and continue the American experiment in democracy. It gives us the opportunity to change the government in a non violent way, through elections and constitutional amendments. It insures domestic tranquility, provides for the common defense.... well you know that part!

It shows the principles the country was founded on, and how important civil liberties are in maintaining our internal freedoms.

Also, the words chosen for the Constitution are very clear, but have become blurred by the court system and the activist groups who twist things into what is best for them. For example, the right to bear arms should not mean (and wasn't meant to mean) that anyone can buy a gun and shot anyone who steps on his or her properties.

The Constitution is sacred, and open to interpretation. However, the interpretations have turned the idea of the Constitution into a whipping post.
